Stati Generali della Green Economy 2025

Green economy: guiding the future in uncertain times
Ecomondo, Rimini Expo Center, 4 and 5 november 2025

The fourteenth edition of the Stati Generali green economy will offer a reflection on the green economy within the new global context, marked by growing geopolitical tensions and increased competition, also due to the tariff policy tightening implemented by President Trump.

In this scenario, the European Union—faced with the rising economic costs of global delays in climate mitigation and adaptation measures, the challenges and higher costs of raw material procurement (many of which are now critical), and the increasing loss of natural capital and ecosystem services—should, despite some necessary adjustments, firmly maintain its course toward the unavoidable transition to a green economy.

This transition must be decarbonized, circular, and regenerative of natural capital, not only for sustainability reasons but also for economic competitiveness.
